Cleaned injectors @ 128k miles

I thought stock injectors are suppose to be Injector Dynamics, not Bosch? I found a lot of dirt, inside the ports and on the injectors themselves.

Did you just clean the exterior cosmetics or take them and have them flow tested & cleaned at an injector shop?

It's cheaper to buy used injectors with low miles. I cleaned them up and primed them with some industrial degreaser and put them on the rails, the kind of degreaser that takes your skin off. So far no changes. I also had a friend peek in the radiator neck to look for bubbles as I reved the car and he saw no bubbles. I'm still going to check for exhaust gas in the cooling system next week at a radiator shop, should not cost more than $20 vs. me paying $53 for UVIEW.

If all else fails after I try other injectors I'm going to have to go to Forged Performance. It doesn't seem to be a bad MAF, though I could ask someone to let me borrow theirs for a bit so see if it stops running lean.

In the future, I would recommend cleaning the exterior surfaces before pulling the injectors out. I use brake kleen followed by compressed air to get everything spotless before removal. This will minimize the amount of sand getting into the engine. I would also cover the intake ports to keep 'stuff' from falling in. I use masking tape.
