are you happy with your stillen crank pulley?
i've been reading about light weight pulleys for our cars. i'm thinking of getting the stillen crank pulley. i was told our cars kinda suffer from underdrive pulleys but, light weight pulleys produce positive results. i read the diy install on the UR pulley and the author was happy with the results. another member also liked the results of his. i read the stillen pulley was about a pound while the oem crankpulley was alittle over 6lbs. also, it said it was an underdrive pulley but was only 20% underdrive. i'm thinking the combination of being light weight and slightly underdriven will be great. i know the pulley produces most of the results on the lower side of the rpm band. i'm wondering if this will be a good mod for my 05 auto. i've had underdrive pulleys on previous vehicles. one was auto and the other was manual. i didn't notice any gain on the auto really but, i could feel it off the line in my manual. is this stillen crank pulley something i would benefit from and feel the results on my auto or would it be like my previous auto and not be too noticable?
Good question!!! I was thinking about this but i backed out of this because i wasn't getting good feed back from other members. All i know is that it free up HP. But i heard other things that made me back out. I say for the people that have it, lets hear there feed back. Who knows, i maight want to get this again.

Underdrive pulleys are smaller and lighter in weight than oem pulleys. They work by freeing up hp by reducing the strain on the engine. Lightweight pulleys do the same but are the same size. Just being lighter reduces strain on the engine as well. They free up most of their power in the lower rpm range. Great for getting off the line.
