What engine to put back in

Okay so I bought a 04 G just a couple months back, and literally blew the engine after less than a month of owning it. Now i am finally to the point where i can somewhat afford an engine to put back in it. I want to know some opinions on what i should do? Again, I am a broke joke.

From what I hear, you can do a nice 2js swap for a good price. But how did you blow your motor?!

LS swap if you want to go full custom. OR you can do another VQ and build it.

Well....being broke is really going to limit you. Even if you built a high compression VQ you are still going to have to tune it not to mention supporting mods like fuel etc.

Personally I would drop an LS but it won't be anywhere NEAR cheap.

Your only "cheap" option when replacing a VQ is to replace with another used VQ. Any kind of swap or build is going to get expensive VERY quick.

But if you do decide to go the built VQ route, either High Comp or Low Comp for boost, let me know. We have a great Stage 2 Shortblock package LINK

Goodluck whichever route you choose, let me know if I can help you with anything!

You should buy my stroker build that I am selling at a bargain price. Look for my user name on the unmentionable z forum in the engine classifieds.

If you're broke it sounds like you should buy a used VQ by the time that is installed and paid for you will be a few grand for sure.

LS and 2JZ are going to be well over $10,000
