Strange smell in the cab when the car is floored....

'03 g35 sedan 70k

Under normal driving the car is fine no smell inside the car, only when I floor it there is an Oder that's very apparent in the cab. I have smelled a blown head gasket in the past where the car is burning antifreeze and you can see the white smoke out the exhaust and the antifreeze smell is really strong. Only this was 15+ years ago on a little Pontiac. This doesn't smell like that, could be different antifreeze then back then?

There is a some whiteness on the exhaust tip also. So I'm thinking blown head gasket or cracked block (ouch). *****They need a scratch and sniff computer screen***** Someone told me that it could be the Cat. converter when its under stress it might give an order when its going bad?

Also any help on testing what ever the problem would be great also.

Please any help would be great.

a failing catalytic converter(s) usually smell like rotten eggs, or like sulfur really. Does it smell like that?

i wouldn't worry if you don't have overheating issues/coolant disappearing

get some HFC and you'll get power and should clean up the smell too

Yeah get HFC if you are having smell problems. Do not go for test pipes because that makes the smell a lot worse. Its a cheap but not very effective solution.

HFC are they way to go. And this is coming from a guy that has test pipes lol
