Eh guys. I'm hovering on starting an official thread for the AT guys hunting around for valvebody upgrades, grounding kits, Built Transmissions etc. I see a lot of guys asking questions about those parts and I know there are a bunch of companies out there that offer services. Most of those parts (with the exception of grounding kits) cost over 1k to buy + install... so maybe an objective "report" on products guys have experience with might be useful in this section? I'm kind of happy because I've had experience with a lot of these parts and different companies who supply them... Be nice to give something to the community.

I'm thinking a review based on the following categories:

1) Cost / Installation
2) Performance
3) Maintenance
4) Improvement on stock
5) Customer Service
6) As expected


Something like that. Any others?

Figure there might be some value for this kind of thread? I see shop rating threads, Coilover reviews... tires... etc. Figure maybe this might be handy? Should it include MT clutches etc?

It would mostly be focussed on changing gears... not necessarily putting power to the ground. I'm not thinking differentials and so on... though maybe I'm limiting the scope of the thread too much?

Anyway- this isn't the thread... this is just a floater to get some feedback and generate something that might help the community in making the right decision for what they want to build.
