Need help!....possible belt issue?

Woke up this morning to hear this lovely sound. 2006 M35. Seems like it's one of the belts, but I am not sure which one. I did change one of the belts a few summers ago so I am not sure if it would go bad that fast. Any ideas and if it is one of the belts, is it ok to drive on at least until I can get it fixed? Thanks.

Definetely is not a belt. Belts SQUEAL when they are loose or need replacing.

Hopefully that sound in not internal engine knocking. It sounds like you have a drummer in your engine bay.

make sure that nothing is sticking into the belts or pulleys
check oil level

you don't have a check engine light do you?

Check your oil, but unfortunately it sounds like your engine is toast

My guess would be a spun rod bearing

Got to the shop and it was......a bad belt lol. The AC belt had split in half, half away around the circumference of the belt which was the sound in the video (the split part was off the pulley hitting things). All new belts, oil change and $260 later, the M is running like a champ. Thanks guys for all your help

Good to hear! I guess nothing can replace a first hand inspection, that video sounded nothing like a belt slapping to me lol
