My new build .. your recommendations

hello there , am new member here , and from what i read , its great info i found here ..
am running g35 2003 auto , its bone stock !! am trying to get upgrades which will be

full set of pulleys
test pipe+headers
k&n drop in filter
motodyno 5/16 plunim '

am thinking to get cams ,, which will wake up the engine, and make it rev faster !! the main problem as i think is the vq has low torqe , thats why our cars do not pull harder !! so am trying my best to make here rev fast , like trying to make the turbo spool faster
so what do you recommend of great kit of cams that work in low rpm till the redline !!

after i done from that , i will do retune from uprev

any more info please tell me

thanks in advance

Cams wont do much of anything with a stock motor....do you have a turbo kit on the car?

Forget the pulley set, headers and test pipe! MotorDynes plenum spacer is a good start along with a good intake like Stillens CAI/Z-Tube combo. Then a set of MDs Art pipes and his complete exhaust. Those installed you can get a Osiris tune and pic up another 25 RWHP. Consider how many miles on your '03 I wouldn't mess with the internals!

If you decide to do Cams.. also think about doing a complete value job and maybe port and polish for better airflow. Should get you some good numbers... also you are gonna need a good tune with you want max results.

And since your doing all that you may aswell upgrade to 11.0 compression pistons and along with you cams, MD spacer, ARD test pipes, exhaust, CAI, tune you will then reach ~ 300RWHP? but its alot of $...

I wouldn't waste your money on the pulleys, K&N filter, or headers.

If you want the best bang for your buck I suggest getting the plenum spacer and test pipes. Another great mod that no one has mentioned would be a upgrading to a VLSD with 3.5 or 3.7 final drive.

If you serious about making power just get sg long tube headers and then 3 inch straight pipes. Then get a kenetix velocity manifold and your making very good power.
