G35 PRO Performance Speed Chip Module

Anyone ever heard of this device or used it?? I cant really take an item like this serious
#1. It's only $24.99
#2. Never heard of it, nor has anyone else mentioned it??
#3. Looks too generic and cheap to actually do anything, and its sold on ebay....

I dont think I would trust this type of device on a 35k car, but was curious to see if anyone had bought/heard/used one in the past??

heres the link

The funny thing is is that something like this may acutally increase horsepower. However, they should never be installed on a car. Most cheap items like this trick the mass airflow meter into seeing the maximum amount of air. To compensate for all this air the car will supply more fuel. More fuel can increase horsepower, but it will cause the car to run rich. It will not run well at idle (as it thinks air is still flowing) and cold winter starts would be extremely rough I would imagine.

Tuning a car to get max power out of it is one thing, tricking it to make more power is a completely different thing.

I think all these things do is to trick the ecu into thinking that you are stepping harder on the gas pedal when you are actually not. Absolutely a complete joke. Might make someone think they are gaining power when in fact the so called chip is just advancing the throttle positioning relative to how hard you push on the accelerator.
