Hi guys. I have a problem with my car. I purchased a new clutch (competition clutch) and now my car has a lot of chattering. The car had gained some torque because it was a light weight flywheel (i guess). Today i was driving and i hit the redline accidentally and the (service engine light came on, VDC light and SLIP) I disconnected the battery and weighted for a few hours and went back out to drive. The check engine light is off but the car has lost power and chatters a whole lot... frustraded Help

 

Take it back to whoever put the clutch in. Something is probably disconnected. Some clutches make a lot of noise, none of them should cost you power or cause lights to light up.

 

I use to have a Competition Clutch, the thing chattered like crazzzzyyy
