My 0-60 Times...Is this Normal?
My Setup:
2006 G35x 5AT
MD 5/16" Spacer
SxExCx Grounding Kit
Z-Tube
Location: Provo, Utah at 4500ft elevation
Air Temp: About 40 degrees
I'm getting 0-60 times of between 7.55 and 7.64 (based on Cipher's readings). Road and Track tested a 2006 G35x at 5.9 seconds 0-60. I know i'm not anywhere near sea level, but that seems like a pretty big difference. Is something wrong?
I bought my car this summer and since then I have replaced the spark plugs, air filter, transmission fluid and filter, sea foamed the engine, and run injector cleaner a couple times. Running Mobil 1 oil. I can't really think of anything else that might be holding me back.

Elevation is an absolute killer, I used to live in salt lake and know a bunch of guys that roll with g35 and 350zs...you need real power adders to be fast
You can try running with some of them and compare to get a real feel of normalcy. I will be up there during Christmas as well, feel free to hit me up

I'm not asking how to go faster; i'm asking if my car is running the way it should at my elevation. In other words, will be 7.5 second car be a 5.9 (or faster) second car at sea level.

4500ft.... Calgary my city is around 3500 ish. NA cars suckkkkk at altitude. Only way to make power is boost. The pressure in calgary is 89kpa, and sea level is 101.3kpa. I bet your city is close to 87kpa lol.

Thanks for the input! After doing some more research, it sounds like an X does 0-60 in 5.9-6.4 seconds, which is quite a spread. Then with altitude correction, i'm probably right where I should be.
Thanks!

Well I just returned home from Vegas today. While I was down there, the car did seem to have a lot more power...more so than the increase in power I noticed in my Subaru when I went down to SoCal a couple years ago. I didn't do any logging, but i'm thinking everything is just fine.
