It should be fine, the car has a built in rev limiter that will cut the spark if you rev to high it will seem like a studder or back fire if you hit it.

You have a RevUp engine... It revs to 7000 rpm lol. 6500 is fine.

False

He has an Automatic so he has the normal DE, which has a redline of 6800.

OP your not stretching the legs out enough, I hit the limiter frequently lol

With the automatic, the car wont let you overrev. It won't drop a gear unless it's in a safe range and as was stated earlier if you peg it their is a cutoff to prevent overrev.

Ah, it sounded like he had a 6mt. Either way, 6500 rpm is fine.

Your car will be fine. I've been in the red several times and my car still running good. I am talking about 8200 2x and 7800 once in the 4 years i had it. Just try to stay out of the red. I hear you can do a lot of damage to it if your in the red a lot.

AHAHA worst case scenario your car blows up .......your car is fine as long as you remembered to change gears obviously it was ok to have it to rev up to 6500 if it doesnt redline until 7000rpm
