Am I tuned?

I recently bought an 05 g35 6mt. I checked it out and it has a catback, intake and I believe a torque/engine damper. It leads me to believe that perhaps the car was tuned for those mods. Is there a way to check? Also, do I have a Rev up engine? What is it? Thanks

you don't have a rev-up engine, that was only on 06-07 6mt's. the rev-up is called what it is because the factory rev limiter was raised from 6800 to 7000 on the rev-up. it also puts out more hp but a little less torque then the non rev-up. not sure about checking for the tune in all cases, but if the previous owner was osiris tuned, hold down the top switch on the right side of the steering wheel (i believe its the accel/decel switch for cruise control) and then press cancel once, then let go of the switch. if something on your gauge cluster flashes once pretty fast then its osiris tuned. otherwise, not too sure=)

Really? Last I checked, 05-06 6MT Sedans and 05-07 6MT Coupes had Rev-ups...

lophix is correct.

I would doubt you're tuned - since most people wait until they have the plenum spacer and mrev2, along with hfc/test pipes. intake and exhaust isn't enough to warrant a $600 tune - nor would the afr be off enough to cause any hazards or problems.

Yes you have a rev up and it is doubtful you have a tune. The cruise control buttons will be the only way to figure it out though. Google up rev and see if you can find the procedure ans the cruise control light flashing.
