Disconnect battery = keep windows down

When disconnecting the battery, what was the reason for keeping the windows lowered while it's unhooked?

because the windows automatically go up an inch when you close the door (when the battery is connected) this wont do it and so consequently you can crack your windows

This applies to the coupe only, not the sedan.

If your windows are up on the coupe, I hear you can push the door down as you're opening/closing it if you have to.
