Rogue Engineering Short Shifter Kit

Hey guys I wanted to let you know that I talked to Ben at Rogue Engineering today and they still make the Short Shifter Kit for the g35 and 350z. If you do a little research, they are known as the best Kit on here. Much better than B&M. I was hoping to gather some people up who are interested and make a group buy. I havent seen too many mentions of the RE kit so I figured I'd try to bring it back!

well just finished the install and im gonna have to say that im not all that impressed. yes if feels different, but better...? i guess that will be for the individual to decide. i know its only a 20% reduction so i wasnt expecting a big change in throw, but i was expecting it to feel much more crisp when going through gears. i guess the stock shifter is already pretty decent compared to most cars and maybe i was imagining a bigger change after reading about how awesome it was on the different forums. I dont intend this post to bash on the RE shifter, based on everybody's reviews it is a awesome product. its probably just me or maybe i did something wrong... does anyone know if its possible to f up this installation? i followed the instructions perfectly. BTW kinda wish i would have waited a bit then i could have jumped in with the group buy.

I heard it wasnt supposed to shorten it up too much but it was supposed to make gear changing better and take away some vibration. I heard its kind of like a bolt action rifle after installing.

I've had mine for about 5 yrs now and i like it alot. You 'click' ("bolt action rifle" if you will) in/out of each shift gate. I think with the reduction of any shifter, you'd need a lil more force to shift. That being said, shifting from upper gear down is money, especially 3rd-4th..flick of the wrist
