Ok I am having this awful grinding sound coming from my transmission or clutch or something when i have it in a higher gear and i push on the accelerator. I looked around and couldn't find anything on here to help. I don't feel the grinding much at all accept for maybe a little shaking but it definately shouldn't be there. I took it up to Infiniti and they said that the grumbling is normal due to being a reace inspired transmission with lighter syncros. They said their is no problem with the tranny at all, but that the noise may possibly go away if I change the gear oil and the transmission changed to a higher quality synthetic. Well the sound definately should not be there but any ideas on whether this will help at all??

 

I got it checked out and it sounds like the transmission is going... if anybody knows of anyone selling the same transmission please let me know cuz i have a family friend that will put it in for me
