rough idle after oil catch can install

installed a mishimoto oil catch can yesterday and now at idle the rpm's drop like its going to stall then they recover to about 900rpm and repeat about 20-30 seconds between each drop..im running summits ss braided lines to it bc the lines that came with the catch can colapsed under vacum. im not really sure what the problom could be, all of my connections are tight and im positive i do not have a vacum leak. has anyone else have this happen to them? i was thinking about doing the peddle reset to the tb but i heard its a PITA. thinking about just taking it off and selling it.

thanks guys

i would give the gas pedal reset a go first, the regular reset, not for the TB. and if that doesnt work, do the tb reset via pedals.

double check all the connections and make sure there isn't a vacuum leak somewhere

I had the same thing happen when i installed the Greddy can.Go get some carb cleaner spray and spray it around your connections and ill bet you will find a vacumn leak. The rpms will change when you find the leak.

^ +1. I had a vaccuum leak coming from the transparent hose to check the oil level on my catch can. I'd check there first.

A catch can is good to have regardless if you have FI or not, it'll still catch the oil vapors.
