hey everyone,

I am installing kintex HFC's and a HR y pipe on my 05' G coupe. The HFC's i bought used and came with no hardware...i heard the bolts for the top flange on the kintex HFC's that connects to the headers are longer than the other bolts...

is that true? if they are longer, how much longer? i searched high and low on driver and google and cannot find bolt size info.. ALSO, i was told the stock Y-pipe and cat bolt size is 10mmx1.25 standard and 30mm long... is the correct????

I want to be prepared with new stock size bolts as mine are most likely rusted to ****... i live in NY where the weather will rust bolts pretty bad... I also don't want to get the wrong size bolt for the top flange that connects to the header...

Good thing you brought this up. I just bought kinetix HFC's and strup headers so was wondering the same thing since they didnt come with any install stuff. Thanks for bringing it up.

 

ya i'm going crazy trying to figure this one out... frustrated! i can't even find the stock size bolts i need in any store...

Im about to buy an assortment and try everything lol... not 1 person on any forum seems to know what im asking...uhhh this sucks

 

My bolts were rusted to no end.
I just bought new stainless steel bolts/nuts/washers/lock-washers in a variety of sizes (SAE) used the ones that fit and returned the rest.

 

I just bought a set of AAM Comp HFC's, I can measure to bolts that came with it this evening.
