I was cleaning my pop charger and noticed the hose that connects the pop charger and z tube to the main intake/throttle body is cracked.

I called the dealer but he said they dont sell it alone and it would be $140 for the entire air hose assembly

I have attached a picture with an arrow showing which hose I need.

I have tried local auto shops but they have universal ones that dont seems to work


Has anyone had any luck finding a replacement?

 

buy a Z tube...you can get them for $30-40 and they replace it all with a straight intake pipe

I have the z tube with a pop charger installed

the problem is the existing hose is cracked

I really don't wanna pay $40 for a 3" hose that is 3 " long

 

the z tube from stillen does not come with hoses or clamps, just the tube.

This was three years ago.....Im pretty sure I ordered from the site I posted.

They sell 3 inch flex tubes on Amazon I just purchased a Red one for like $6.99. When you search for it in Amazon type in Intake coupler. I tore my coupler too when I was installing my drop in. At the time I panicked so I purchased some Electrical tape, since it takes heat very well, and I have had a lot of sucess with it. I went to Virginia Beach with it and I still have it on, no problems.

 

Just in case there's people like me, who's looking for all over for this darn thing with no luck.
You can purchase one at Z1 Motorsports for like $40.
It's called:

Z1 G35 Replacement Silicone Intake Coupler Set

• 2003-2007 Infiniti G35 Coupe
• 2003-2006 Infiniti G35 Sedan

Comes in Black, Blue, Red. It's made from silicone instead of rubber so it's supposedly won't deteriorate over time like the stock hose.
