im sorry for not knowing but what exactly is a plenum ? its the first time hearing about it here on this forum

 

The plenum is the part of the motor that the intake attaces to. Air flows through the intake and is regulated by the throttle body. When the throttle body opens it fills the plenum with air. The air flows through the plenum and is directed to the engines 6 cylinders. For a picture check out:

The plenum in that picture is a Crawford Z plenum that they painted black (its the shiney black part that is sitting on top of the engine).
