Plz Help. G is SMOKING from Exhaust

ok so my 2004 G35 Coupe 6MT 52K miles just started doing this 2 weeks ago..at first i thought it was just condensation from cold starts, so i thought nothing of it, my oil seemed to be fine until a few days ago i noticed a very slight drop on the oil dip stick, not a lot though was above the L mark but below the middle part. so i added half a qt, anyways its gotten pretty bad in terms of the amount of smoke that comes out when i start the car and then when it sits in idle, its a constant flow of gray/black smoke not much but enough to realize it. i took it to Nissan today to have them check it out and they said it might be oil consumption due to the smell & color of the smoke so they said come back in 500 miles for them to check since they drained the oil and filled it back up. otherwise i had them check the spark plugs and PCV valve(replaced that last week) and no leaks or oil found. there isn't any signs of oil i can see in the engine bay..the Nismo CAI i have has no oil inside the tubing anywhere near the throttle body, Car actually runs just fine, no CEL or issues with acceleration. i have had resonated test pipes on the car for the last year with an HR Y-pipe and OEM muffler and never had this issue so i doubt its that? before i take it back to Nissan and pay another $120 for stupid input , does anyone have an idea of what might be the issue? Please and Thank You

happened to my car with art pipes. most likely oil consumption. i'm in the process of testing for oil consumption. you can see the white smoke cause of the test pipes. if you put back on your cars, the smoke goes away, but you're still consuming oil.

I've been wondering if the ART pipes help to cause oil consumption...just a question. Not something that can easily be tested for

I don't think it causes it , but it makes it worse cause if you don't tune after after them installed you are running way too lean...

My car never went through oil...got the ART instead of my HFC now...last oil period i had to add 1.5 quarts and was still a little low at change time. Meaning I went through 2 quarts where i normally would have used less than .5

I found out yesterday that after checking all spark plugs that there was a tiny bit of oil on spark plug #6. I cleaned it up and will probably replace the valve cover gaskets to see of that helps.. If not then I'll probably have to find a driver side valve cover since I can't find the spark plug tube seals individually. But for the mean time I'm going to try a No Smoke oil additive to see if that helps condition the seal since I have to drive to work next day. Otherwise I don't think my test pipes are contributing to the minimal oil consumption noticed. I have 02 sensor extensions on the TP's to avoid The CEL. Never had a CEL.
