n00b question: difference between 03 -> 05 G35?

Hello.

I have a rather odd question.

As Infinity has upped the power from the 2003 to the current models. Does this mean that I can simply take a 2005 ECU and plug it right into a 2003 car and get the power gain?

I've done some strange searches and haven't found anything just yet.

Thanks!

Oh dear..... you spelled it Infinity & you are a newbie!
(automatic grounds for banning, if Admin see this)

I believe the answer is no, there's more to it then a plug&play ECU. I believe its changed 03, 04, 05. and none of them work on the other. (I'm only posting my understanding what I've read on this isuue)
