The FIRST aftermarket VQ transmission pan
I was lucky enough to team up with a company called PML which makes high quality oil/tranny pans and diff covers.
As far as I know, tis is the only aftermarket transmission pan for the VQ. I was the first to test-fit it for the G35 and I am happy to report that it fits perfect. It does sit a little lower than OEM but is still tucked up slightly higher than the flanges of the cats (or ART pipes in my case).
Here is the details from their site:
This heavy duty transmission oil pan fits the Nissan RE5R05A transmission. This pan features:
- a low profile for ground clearance
- fins, aluminum construction and a bit more capacity for cooling
- a drain plug for easier maintenance
- 3/16-inch thick wall construction to add strength to the transmission case
- 3/8-inch thick gasket flange will not bend when bolts are tightened
- Machined gasket surface for a secure seal
- Boss cast into pan can be machined for a temperature sensor
- Magnetic drain plug for easier, less messy maintenance
- Mounting hardware provided

Not to knock the product or anything, but hasnt level10 offered something very similar to this pan for years?
Edit: i figure it would be good if i linked what i was talking about http://www.levelten.com/Level_10_Dee...01900-1000.htm
I dont think that^ one has the ability for a tranny temp sensor though.
