Exclamation Engine temp!

Hi guys, im new here i own a 2006 g35 and i have a quick question for yall. I live in texas and its my first time driveing this car in summer in 97F heat and I saw that my temp guage was above the middle but then it went back down when i turned the AC on. after i saw that happening i changed the oil and the drivers belt and sometimes it moves just a little above the middel. so my question is do g35 run hot in summer? or is something wrong i just bought it around 5 months ago. Thank for the help.

I am FI and in Texas. It has gotten hot in stop and go traffic put it drops when I get going. But that is due to the extra heat in the bay.

Have you checked your coolant level? Look up threads on burping the system.

im not a big fan of adding many additives into fluids but i have used lucas super coolant additive and it helps to keep the car from bouncing around the heat range. use it in my G and temp stays right below half way at all times. and im in 90+ degree weather with really bad humidity

I would check to make sure your electric fans are turning on like they are supposed to. Should turn on after about 30 sec as soon as you turn your AC on regardless of engine temp. Both fans should engage with stock setup.
