i just bought the car not too long ago i had to get new camshaft position sensors so ive done that and the brakes which i thought the brakes were the problem, its mostly when i accelerate that it makes this noise not when i try to stop, every time i step on the gas to accelerate it screeches i can mainly hear it on the on the driver side, the longer and harder i step on the gas the louder it screeches if i barely tap on the gas it'll screech but not as loud,

Most likely a worn drive belt.

Yeah when on neutral it does just revving. No screeching what so ever. I also had the ac belt and the main belt replaced a while back, it has an intake which I don't think is causing any problem with the whole screeching ,

Your automatic transmission fluid.

If this is your first car, *AND* you don't know anything about them, seriously, go find a mechanic!

Too hard on the gas! Stop doing burn outs. Your tores wont last long at all. But seriously. Being that it'd only in drive and not in neutral most likely it is driveline related as opposed to engine related. Go to the nearest dealer. Go on their website and find their current oil change coupon. Print it. Use it. They will go through everything.

It can be one of many things. I'd start by checking the ebrake. If you don't have Brembos, they are a separate set of pads located inside the rear rotors.

Sounds like a belt needs to be tightened...or maybe you have a idler pulley going bad...based on the info we have. If you can take a video do it, then post it up. Will be helpful.

my car has a cold air intake and i had someone look at it and we found that it's the intake that makes that noise, he said the only way to get rid of it is to take the intake off which i wouldnt want to do any ideas?
