Hey, I'm looking to add an exhaust system onto my 5AT 04 coupe and am looking for an exhaust sound with a deeper and slightly louder than stock sound. The four I am looking at our

Borla
Magnaflow
Nismo
HKS Hi-power

Im leaning more towards Magnaflow or Borla. I do like the HKS but it is much more expensive than the rest. As for the Nismo, to me, it sounds like a tad bit louder stock exhaust. I just want to hear some others opinions on which option to go for or if there is any other exhaust system you would recommend that would be appreciated too.

I had the Borla on my G coupe and it was slightly quieter than stock actually. At least until I was over 4500RPMs. Start up as well as idle and city driving was pretty low. It had a low deep growl like a purring lion/tiger persay. That was why I loved it. The stock is a beautiful sound but I wanted a deeper sound, not louder.

 

cant go wrong with Nismo

 

Have you looked at the stillen, great sound and fitment

 

doesnt stillen make the nismo exhaust

 

if you would consider hks...how can you skip MD hahaha
its louder but a good loud
