Alright I've been searching and searching with no answer. I'm hoping somone can shine a light on this.

I have a 05 6mt g35 with rev-up. It's needing rings soon and ive heard sucess stories from the maximum forums using Vq35hr pistons. Now the bump in compression would be nice but i would like to stay away from any machining job on parts. So far I heard the revup and Hr pistons are the same except for its cr. But with no hard evidence I Dnt want to jump on it. I'm trying to stay away from forged pistons hence why i would prefer cast or upgraded oem.

I Dnt plan on anything extreme so any info about this would greatly be appreciated.
