Z Tube With K&n Drop In Filter Or The 10 Wire Gordgee Grounding Gear

 

I'd say the Z-tube with the filter. Between the sound and the slight power increase the results will be more noticeable. Not that the grounding kit isn't worth it, I have a kit and I do acthally think that it made a difference with my shifting.

 

i was leaning toward that too, but then i was thinking what if i later i decide to get the grounding kit and he doesnt offer it so cheap anymore you know

 

get Z tube with the K&N. IMO grounding gear is RIDICULOUSLY overpriced. you can go to home depot and buy the same guage wire & ring terminals for < $20.

 

Z tube should be first. Add the K&N air filter when the stock one gets some miles on it--you won't notice a whole lot from the filter.
With that said, now you need to look at your next mods! Consider:
high flow cats
plenum or plenum spacer
exhaust
UR pulley
etc.

 

what is this Z tube i keep seeing everywhere? can you help understand exaclty what it is?

 

Screw The Z Tube, i would go with an Injen CAI, i love mine, made the car BREATHE!

The stock airbox breaths just fine and in many cases better than many aftermarket CAIs. No one has been able to prove otherwise.

 

I'd keep the stock air tube and filter and spend the money on a Crawford plenum.

 

Or you can wait for the APS plenum coming out mid-march.

get the Crawford Plenum and an Injen CAI, its worth it, and it isnt that expensive........$550 isnt that much

 

I think we should be asking him what transmission he has because I would suggest getting the Torque converter done if it is an auto, and the flywheel if it is a MT.

 

do they have torque converters fot the AT?.....if so where can you get it?
