Did a tune up and after it put a multiple cylinder misfire code, I can hear it misfiring in the exhaust it sounds horrible. Not sure where to go from here any one have any ideas ? Only work done was new plugs seemed simple enough

Did you complete one plug change at a time? Make sure each plug harness connected back, to plug it was pulled from? Disconnect battery terminal before doing plugs?

Ya checked the gap .45 if I recall plugs matched the old ones I actually did repull the caps back off and sprayed them out with throttle body cleaner and re attached them but still misfires I guess the only step now is to get new plugs and replaces them all and see if that fixes it. Other than that I don't no what could be an issue

It would've made much more sense to use MAF cleaner, than TB cleaner.

Even if you think you did, recheck that everything is hooked back up.

I forgot why you're supposed to but you are. I believe it could short something if batter is not disconnected prior.

just an FYI

I had a misfire. opened uprev and found out i was running 110-120% fuel trims. replaced fuel entire fuel pump assembly with junk yard unit for cheap, and everything is good now. the filter on my second gen car is within that assembly, I wouldnt doubt mine was occluded. make sure you classify your misfire as lean or rich type before you go diving in.
