Need some advice please

Need some advice please. I had my radiator, a/c drive belt, alt drive belt and air filter replaced. The owner from the shop called me and told me everything was fixed and running fine and when the tech was driving my car the bearings in the fan pulley bracket disintegrated causing the fan to cut the new radiator and damage the fan blade. So I had to pay for a new fan blade, fan pulley bracket and labor which was an additional $400.00. I'm just not sure what all gets worked on/ taken apart etc.and it sounds shady that all that broke after initial repairs and I got handed the bill. 2004 G35 4 door. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'd want to see the damage that occurred and most likely i'd make them pay for something that happened while they were driving it. They should have checked all of that when installing. Making sure everything is in good working order is part of their job. They should've been able to tell that the bearing were no good.

I call BS. Go to the shop and ask them specifically how it happened. If they caused the issue, they should man up.

If it happened while it was in the shops care they are responsible. It sucks for them and it could have been a random accident or negligence, you'll never know. Bottom line is they should repair it for no cost to you. Hope you paid with a credit card
