Hi everyone, new owner here
i just picked up an 05 coupe and i was thinking of modifying it just a bit
first off was intake
im searchin around, and bam, the ingen CAI sounds great. i look up the best available price and its on its way
one MINOR problem
no idea how to put the thing on
directions say to take off the front bumper, take this off take that off do this do that
have no clue what im reading
i have a couple friends here and there that has put intakes on their cars and trucks but theres no way im trusting them with my g35, i dont even trust myself
what to do
also, what are sway bars? what do they do?. and how about Plenom (sp) ?
dont laugh. im only 16 and lets hope i could at least read the instructions by the time im 21

check out the DIY forum, there are a few cai installation guides there. you will have to remove the bumper and cut the foam block, i believe.
sway bars make your car feel more solid by reducing body roll while turning. it keeps your car flat so pressure is distrubuted to both sides of the car. therefore your car can take turns faster.
plenums help the engine take in air more efficiently. stock is usually restrictive and air flow is uneven. i think i heard an increase of around 20hp, someone confirm this.

wow 16years old and you got a g35coupe. i hope thanked your parents
for mods i would start with the ztube, and then CAI and then exhaust.
kyosho - some websites claim that you can get about 20hp with pleneum and highflow cats combined but by itself, maybe half that, realistcly even less proably 5-8hp
