Oil consumption. Overall concensus??

Okay so I have a oil consumption and have read the forums and it appears this issue is pretty common? So now, does anyone have any solutions besides ripping out the motor and rebuilding it?

Other than switching over to conventional oil to see if it will slow or stop it if your using synthetic than I'm 99% sure its a no. Btw what year is yours?

Doesn't sound bad, I'd switch over to conventional if I were you & check back in another 2k miles. Its not worth it to use expensive oil if its just going to eat it up. Whats your mileage?

How is that? If you switch from regular oil to synthetic at a high mileage it may cause problems but it shouldn't be no problem the other way around. But ya, as I seen it you got 3 options. Try dino oil, keep adding your choice of oil, or short block rebuild if the oil situation is really getting bad.
