i searched like crazy and cant find anything about actual power gains on awd gs

i have an 05x with
z tube
rev up air box
kn drop in air filter
5/16 motordyne spacer
and full exhaust except headers (resonated test pipes)
megan oers which is 3inch back from y pipe
and uprev dyno tune

the car dynoed 242awhp
with headers and the tomei poncam cams (which are there basic drop in cams)
can i made 300awhp and bring the torque up to the high 2's???
anyone with experience? and any recommendations on supporting mods?

car also has almost 102k miles on it and does burn about 1/2 quart of oil every 4-5k miles (i think it burns more if im hard on it vs babying it)
so i dont want the reliability to change..i need the car to last me and dont want to do an engine build for awhile

 

How about you free up some power and get the CF driveshaft. It will get you closer to 300.

 

 

The best cams would be the ones that come in a different motor... lol

u arent gonna make 300awhp with the mods you have listed and different cams.

 

if you don't have a better Y-pipe you should get one

The easiest way for you to pick up the next 60 HP is to build your motor. Its not worth the $$ just to get the 60 HP though, so you'd be better off supercharging
