SES light (p0300) after mrev2 and spacer install

I installed the MD Spacer and MREV2 this afternoon. Install was a breeze and instructions were great. Drove the car for about 30 minutes after install and couldn't believe the repositioning of the torque band. It was awesome and I was SO happy.

HOWEVER, I got in the car about three hours later to go pick up some pizza and on the way the "Service Engine Soon" light came on almost right away. In addition, the idle has been slightly rough, and lower than normal, but under load the engine pulls fine.

I checked the code and it came back as P0300 which for a Nissan is
- Faulty spark plug (s)
- Faulty ignition coil (s)
- Clogged or faulty fuel injector (s)
- Intake air leak
- Fuel injectors harness is open or shorted
- Fuel Injectors circuit poor electrical connection
- Ignition coils harness is open or shorted
- Ignition coils circuit poor electrical connection
- Insufficient cylinders compression
- Incorrect fuel pressure

Due to the recent install of the intake related mods I assume its the intake air leak. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I pull it all off and retorque everything? Everything sounded fine after the install during idle.

Suggestions? Thanks Guys

double check all your vacuum hoses and make sure nothing popped off. also check that rubber oil fill gasket and make sure its not caught in between the plenum and the spacer which is a fairly common thing.

I know the rubber gasket isn't caught, I took it off before the install. From a few things I've read on here when the hoses are the problem, the idle runs high.

The plan is to pull the upper plenum off tomorrow, check the screws and the alignment, and all the hoses and what not. I'll update then.

Did you try removing and then re tighten the fuel cap?

How is that gas cap related?

Gas cap could set an SES light only but no idling issues.

Sounds like a vacuum issue to me. Check your install once again

So I reset the ecu ( bat disconnect) and drove the car all afternoon with no light !!!
However, idle still seems a little low. Didn't get a chance to do more than a quick visual inspection today. Tomorrow ill go over the entire install again.

Thanks for the responses, ill update tomorrow

Did you do a pedal reset as well? It could help.

I did the pedal reset the first day, twice. But the light came back on within minutes of starting the car. I'll try it again today.

Sounds like the job created a vacuum leak, that
would be my first guess.
