hey, has anyone painted their ugly "titanium" center console and door pieces?

theres a company that dips them into some CF patterened paint to get a CF look, but it costs an arm and a leg.

anybody just paint it black or anything? anyone thought of doing it?

 

In my opinion, carbon fiber would look even worse
Im not a fan of the titanium color of the console either; I think black would look a lot better

I think it would be rather easy just to vinyl dye it but I havent decided whether I want to or not yet

 

vinly dye? how would that look? i was just going to paint a few coats of black with a few gloss coats on top to protect it. some good quality paint.

 

I have my old OEM dash just laying around....you know the one I dremmeled to see if I could make a doubleDin space.....

What color do you all want me to try and paint, brush, layer, stroke, or dip it? Do they have carbon fiber dips or paint I could buy and try?

let me know....I'll go check lowes or home depot for color choices...
