Thx. Is this gonna be pricey to fix. If I buy the parts, I have a friend that can fix it. Sadly he's off island and wont be back till Saturday. He's doing the valve cover upgrade for me, ir plugs, oil change, trans fluid change and gear oil. He said if i get what ever is needed, that he can change it for me.

Sounds like electrical issues and could have to do with a loose ground or forgetting to attach a ground. Check your IPDM box under the battery and make sure all the wires you touched and replaced are nice and tight. Did this start when you attempted a mod that only has a so called placebo effect. If you want to do a real upgrade than do the big three mod.

Don't fix it if it's not really broken....sometimes you have electrical things pop up and never come back. If the problem persists then find it and fix it. For no just inform yourself of possibilities and find parts so if you need to yu know where to buy them

I had the same issue happen to my 05 coupe. Dealer charged $300+ to put on a new throttle body. Don't worry about the car loosing all power, it does so to protect itself i guess. Referee to as the "limp mode." The reason for my throttle body being replaced was due to aftermarket HID fog light kit...go figure, the dealer said somehow it was frying the throttle body.
