Engine noise, heard in cabin.

I have an 05 g35x A/T with 109k miles, and recently it has had a strange, and very inconsistant knocking/ticking noise, coming from the engine. It is heard best in the cabin and i cant really hear it if there is any strain on the motor, so only at idle, or low RPM. And im not sure if the noise increases with the RPM, the engine is to loud to tell. The noise is only there when the engine is it operatig temprature, and sounds great when first fired up! I have done zero mods. Just changed cam sencor and plugs. Also im running 91 octane.
Any help is appreciated Thank you!!
