2005 g35 No spark help!!!!

I just did the head gaskets on a g35 this past week I have it all put back together but the car will not start. I have confirmed that there is no spark but there is fuel. The car has a clifford intelliguard 770 after market alarm system on it. I have temporarily bypassed the ignition away from the alarm and it still is not firing. The factory alarm still works and I have tried many keys non will fire it. I have read that the NATS system will keep the alarm light solid red if the key has lost its programming? It does not do this and remains off once the key is turned forward. My code reader will not work on the car it never connects for some reason,so Im fishing in the dark atm. I have went threw all fuse boxes and checked every single fuse and all check out.I have been through the entire engine re-plugging all connectors.

What is the next step?

check all your connections. You took the valve covers off, so I am assuming throttle body and maybe a few others.

Check the cam sensors too. it maybe touching but not a solid connection. also check the connection to ensure no bend or broken pins.

But you are not getting any codes so thats wierd.

double check the vacuum lines, Id start with removing the valve covers again, start all over see if you missed something.

sounds electrical, or some sort of vacuum issue to me.

Good luck, thats all I got. lol

Just food for thought, I had my timing wrong. One bank was out by 10 degrees. The cars ecu would not give signal voltage to the coil packs because intake cam angles weren't the same. Easiest way to check is to rotate the engine and line up the mark on the timing cover with one on the crank pulley. Then take off both intake cam timing covers.

If unsure Jim wolf Technology on there website has a template which you can print off. Also the Nissan workshop manual has it in detail. If you don't have it it can be downloaded for free at pdftown or I can email you that chapter.

Hopefully he didn't remove the cams during this install, but great advise.

That Jim wolf read is nice, thanks, now I've learned something else too!

Might do cams one day.
