Went with Brian Crower 264/264 cams, 550cc injectors and VQHR valve lifters

Was told valve float can only happen when you get above the 275 mark so I went just below to not have to mess with springs and because I couldn't get the special tools to take the oil seals out

Also picked up some light weight pulleys to help the engine not have to work as hard and PPE long tube headers to take full advantage of the cams (was cheaper than buying shorties and ART pipes too)

Ryan, just wondering, who told you this about valve float? I'm not denying the claim at all I'm just curious.

Also, I hope you didn't get under driven pulleys.

for a non-revup DE im expecting numbers to be around 290whp and 270-80wtq considering what Ive seen in Derek's ppe LTH thread cant say for sure since he always uses places with low reading dyno's but the gains over shortys and MD ART with same cams on both was about +30hp in the 5k-7k rpm range

hopefully im not too low for Hill's Garage planning on stopping up there on Aug 24th on the way up to WekFest

and thats over what cams, shorty headers and Motordyne ART pipes already give you..... that is what those shots are comparing to, no one has done a completly stock to LTH comparrison

if you want full benifits of the LTH cams are a MUST!
