no, it's well worth it, people are just over thinking the issue of restriction

^yeah, sorry. personally, i feel the gains are there as-is and that the TB is already well engineered, if people choose to port-match, i highly doubt they'll see any returns, IMHO

$300+ there aren't really any drawbacks to this mod. no loss down low with gains across the top end

I haven't had the mod in long enough to notice an increase or decrease in mileage

Mark, I don't really agree with that statement.

In my situation the adapter would cause further restriction going from 3" charge pipe (72.5mm ID) thru a 75mm TB opening thru adapter reducing outlet to 70mm than step change back to 72.5mm at intake plenum.

There will be a greater response with FI that NA, so eliminating any restriction of air flow is beneficial.

Talking about boring out the OEM upper plenumn, not running an aftermarket one

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

Thanks B for the answer to the mileage question. Mine finally arrived yesterday but I'm in Louisiana for the weekend so I'll be back home Monday. Will install and report back as I'm excited to see how it goes.

And to answer someone's question of before and after dynos, there are several floating out there: here, on My350 and maxima.org. IMHO its an under appreciated mod for those of us who have highly modified cars and want to squeeze every last drop of power we can w/o going FI or tearing the motor apart.
