Though according to the FSM there should be factory made notches on the sprockets though right?.. And then you match it up to the yellow paint markings?

yes, the paint marking line up.... ciphor isnt $500... you just need to buy the cable, which for some reason i cant find on the site... i got mine for under $200 from a forum member who gets discounts.... then you download the software off the site for free... it gives a digital readout of timing when hooked up.. should be 15 degrees stock... to check without tearing down the engine, you could just go buy a timing gun... they arent that much for cheap ones at autozone etc

Still having problems!! Timing is at 15/16 and increases like it should with acceleration, no codes, camshaft sensors and crankshaft sensor was replaced with OEM sensors along with a MAF. What could it be? Car starts when choked like a carb engine!
