Does my parking brake need adjustment?

When I park and engage the parking brake, my car will usually roll a bit backwards then stop
This is even with pressing the parking brake in very firmly

Is this normal or does the parking brake need adjustment?

Smile Its Ok to an extent

When I put on my parking brake, the car rolls back for no more than like 3 inches but no more. If your G is rolling back more than that, I think you should have it looked at by your dealer.

I recently had my dealer replace the parking brake switch on my car (the brake itself was also adjusted). My car rolled beyond what I considered reasonable and the brake light would flicker b/c the switch was faulty and would engage when the brake was off.

Once the dealer completed the work all is well

It depends on how far and how much you mashed on the gas. I mean even with the parking brake on and you mash the gas, the car is still going to go forward at a very slow speed but if your going and the car just goes with it on, that sounds fishy.
