Engine Rebuild advise

Hi every one I am a recent 05 G35 owner . I joined the site a few months back when I bought my car. So far I have had a great both driving and installing mods. But in the process of pushing the car for more and more it has come to light that there are several internal engine issues valves seals being one and worn rings being he other.
The car has 135k and was neglected and or abused. I drive it hard and although I do not trck it it stay above 5 grand when I have it out most every week end.. I intend to build a forced induction motor either for it or a second but until then, I am interested in seeing what can be squeezed out of this motor while still keeping it a weekly if not daily driver. I do my best to maintain it meticulously and as I now face a rebuild I am hope those of you with expertise and experience may guild me into areas where money is best spent.
Currently I have installed a 3" cold air intake with induction cowl fabricated in bumper lower grill. I have a motodyne 5/16 plenum spacer and megan Racing test pipes (I Iive where there is no emissions inspection) I need a remap eventually for the the amount of air but it is doing well with it running like a scalded dog..
I will be fitting it with borlas when done with engine and be seeking suspension advise should I go coil over and camber kits or performance shocks and poly bushing kits. But first the motor, Any help is greatly appreciated . Heads, cams, springs lifters, pistons , rings , injectors. I've got about 2500 to spend on parts over and above machine work and will do most of the labor myself again thanks for all the help so far.

Do you have any experience rebuilding motors? Are you looking for power or just repair? You can get a decent low mileage VQ for 1000 dollars and do a swap in a weekend.

Yes to experience, I come from a long line of gear heads and an engeneer father who has an 87 grand national with 520whp and 21lbs of boost. In addition I will not be solo an ASC master mechanic will be on hand in the form of a good friend and adviser. Admittedly I have zero experience with this engine and little with foreign six or fours mostly Detroit muscle and decent time in with both Jags and benz. Power that produces speed and suspension that will stay flat in three digits and handle aggressive hill and mountain road driving are the objectives. As I've mentioned I stay in it most of the time so an engine that can maintain prolonged periods of high rpms is a criteria. I was wondering about the heads recomended multi angle cuts, hogged ports, heavy duty springs possible cams. then piston and rings anything give a simple and reliable compression boost. Not sure if a bore is in order will know this week end looking to avoid however. also are there injector or other fuel delivery components that I should consider.normally I would have researched it into the ground however this failure was unexpected and I need to get the car back up quickly as my 16 year old decided to see if he could move a maple tree with the front of my silverado last week now my truck is a flower box . I hate to break it down and miss an opportunity so forgive me for the request for help , not out of laziness simply necessity.
Regards
Bobby
