Looking at first mod on '05 coupe...
Cold air intake.. K&N

What sound difference is there?
Both inside and outside?
I've heard some say it adds to interior noise. .
Thanks

I run a stillen CAI with the Z tube, you don't notice any sound difference until you get on it.

Then it sounds louder than the stock intake setup.

Can't speak to other CAI's

Another good mod for the $ is a grounding kit Sean sells them on the forum, user name is SxExCx. Smoother idle, crappy Bose stereo even sounds a little better. Recommend checking it out.

Adds a slight whistle at certain RPM, nothing that's overwhelming.

The Bose system on the 05 isn't crappy its the actual head unit. If u spend the money to get a new jdm double din dash plate and a descent head unit it's a world of a difference trust me.

And I have a K&N 69 series typhoon cold air intake an it sounds alot better then the stock set up and if u ever get a kinetix intake manifold ull hear the cold air intake start to suck in air around 2-3000 rpm an it's even sexier good luck with ur mods

I've got a JWT POP charger and Z-tube, dosn't get any louder then stock till you give it over 50% throttle. It sounds great, deep and smooth.
