Problem

Check engine light is on. and i have to rev past 2k rpm for it to move. Could the oil be the problem if its low? sorry im not driving cause im at home and my wife is.

I doubt a oil problem. Getting that check engine code pulled is your best bet at finding out what's wrong.

no i don't but i just took a video of it. she made it home safe good thing. its 11pm and I don't think any shops are open lol.

Well if you can find a good deal on a reader you can come to my small car meet in Gardena and I can read it for you. I work for tips lol. And I can clear it but depending on what it is, it might come back on

Usually auto parts stores will read it for free, auto zone, pepboys, etc.

^ ah that is not true in the state of California. They did away w/ that. I have tried all of them and then I just bought the stupid thing which comes in handy

i'm thinking you have a transmission issue

check your AT fluid level. when was the last time you had the vehicle serviced?

lol how do i check that? Sorry. Last time was never for the Transmission fluid, had it for almost two years this april coming up.
