The transmission fluid dipstick is between the firewall and rear passenger side of the intake manifold / plenum. You'll see a metal tube sticking straight up from underneath the car with a cap bolted onto the top. The cap actually has the dipstick attached to it. Unscrew the cap using a 10mm socket to get the reading - follow the procedure in the service manual (see attached) or SEARCH on here for a guide on checking automatic transmission fluid.

looks like you have a problem with a solenoid in your transmission. based on what's available on the google, the solenoid regulates line pressure in your transmission (specifically, the pressure applied to your clutch packs). definitely get this looked at quick before you do more damage.

An update to the car:

Yes i got it checked out and confirmed. I talked to three dealerships prior to my visit to a transmission shop and was told i need to fork over $4k-5K for a whole new transmission. Drove it to the transmission shop and he has a used transmission with less than 40k miles for 2.5k installed but he recommended to replace the Valve body first because the solenoid is there and they don't sell them separately. That would cost $850 installed, he conveniently had 3 brand new valve bodies lol. So i'm going the $850 route first then he said if it doesn't fix it then the $850 will go toward the $2.5k transmission. Really nice guy.

(I did try to just do a drain and fill which cost me $75 and reset. it runs smoother but the light is still on after like two minutes of it off. lol so that was wishful thinking but you know there might be Christmas miracles but not for the G. lol)

Hopefully the valve body resolves the issue for you. It would suck having to deal with this over the holidays.

Good luck!
