I have a 2003 G sedan. I'm having a problem when I floor it. It accelerates fine but, when it gets to about 4000 rpm it drops down and I lose power, I then have to let go of the gas and press it again gently for me to regain speed.

any idea of what it can be?

also when I'm driving about 80mph and I keep the gas at a steady speed, my engine light starts to blink.. when i slow down it stops blinking
