Hello, I have an 03 sedan 6MT that starts and idles perfectly fine, no strange sounds or anything. However, with the gas pedal floored, will not rev past 1,200rpm but will reach 1,500rpm sometimes but very rarely. The VDC,Slip, and service engine soon lights are all on. I took it to the Infiniti dealer and they said the throttle body was bad, after replacing that, they say I need a whole new wiring harness.. Could that really be the problem? Any suggestions?

 

I would of said throttle position sensor but they replaced the throttle body, Need to see if they did a throttle body relearn or ecm relearn.

You might look around on here for problems with the accelerator pedal itself. Idk if they have problems or not.
