Think I threw a rod :( What year motors will fit 350z/g35?

Well last night I was coming down the fwy at about 70mph & started hearing this clunking sound and before I could try and figure out what it was, boom lol Something blew, thing started smoking like I was getting ready for take off to the moon. Dash lights came on & lost my power steering... car leaked atleast 3 or 4 quarts of oil, if not all 5 smh.
It could be something different but from what I've heard what happens when you throw a rod, seems like that's what happen. The car won't even start or attempt to, it's like I have a dead battery. So I'm guessing this motor is fried..thing that sucks is I've only had the car for 2 months, still have the dealer plates bought it with 86k it's a 03 coupe sport package. Had a 3,000 mile warranty but that was out of question 2k ago.
So my question is what year VQ35 will work? & it needs to be from a manual I'm assuming? I heard the rev up motors won't work, what about the 07 HRs? A HR would be lovely

I got my VQ35DE out of an 08 M35..you have a ton of options, I suggest you do your research as this shouldn't be a hard study to search around on. HR is not an option without $$$$$$$, don't even consider it

Oh god Yes. But in all seriousness, if you do drop in a new engine, consider buying one that is turbo'd or supercharged. js
