German Castrol 0w-30 now made in Belgium with changed branding?
I stopped by Autozone today to grab a couple qts of 0w-30 Castrol European formula and noticed the bottle appearsed to be rebranded and it is now made in Belgium instead of Germany.
Is this the same exact formula as the older blend made in Germany? I hate how they constantly keep rebranding the 0w-30 Euro formula over the years. lol

Just noticed it myself

what is the benefit of ZERO/ something ? the new car manufacturers use it in new cars mainly to get past CAFE regs.....how so...it goes like this say the manufacturer tests 6 new cars and they MISS their target (average) of lets say 33 mpg...with lets say 32.9, the zero grade has less friction/resistance and in many cases will allow mfg to slip thru
I know years ago they had window stickers that read something like this: this car has a tax on it of some 1528. dollars because it failed to pass CAFE guidelines. (NOW) I think they bury it into the sticker price. Can not have the Gubmint kutting into our Corporate profits/SALES now can we.
personally now (and I am not trying to start a h8 thread here but in readilng how oil functions under heat and load the zero grade does not seem to have the film strength and the cushion for race cars which was MY interest.
