Help! Engine Cranks but does not start.

Thanks for Input in advance.

I now believe that the problem may be clogged fuel injectors on my wife's 2004 g35 coupe. Because of advanced design I need all insight of the smart people here. Car has about 35000 miles. the wife doesn't drive it ever. The battery goes dead over time of course. recently I charged and jump the car. wife started it. it ran for 5-6 seconds as I motioned her to keep it running. after that it didn't start again. my evaluation follows.

Fuel gauge was very low. probably out of gas, so I added about 5 gal of fuel. still no start, air lock I thought. so popped out back seat and disconnected fuel line. little fuel came out. Put back, no change. disconnected fuel line again to see if fuel pump works. turned key and it ran a little bit, off and on. I THOUGHT bad fuel pump not realizing that it would not run continuously with key on. my mistake. anyway I opened tank and tank was FULL TO TOP. I replaced fuel pump, then of course realized it does not run continuously.

Car still did not run. I know what I did next some don't like but I sprayed starter fluid in the air cleaner, and damn if it didn't start right up and sounded good. Ran for 15 or so seconds then died. I did this several times, hoping that it might start getting fuel. it didn't.

I went and purchased a harbor freight obdII scanner. I seems to work by the way. It reported 2 codes P0327 Knock sensor, which seems reasonable maybe if the car is not getting fuel, or could be bad sensor, but should keep car from running. The second is P0183 Fuel temperature sensor, located in gas tank. We live in Florida and it is hot, but not that hot. ?could this sensor tell ecu not to start engine? I don't think so, what do you guys think? Is this just telling me that the wiring to fuel gauge and sensor are bad?

In my mind know I believe some dirt has settled in pump assembly. pumped through line and clogged the injectors. Does anyone have any other ideas. that don't involve injector removal? If not I plan on trying to clean injectors, I think I can. but in that process do I really have to drain coolant? do you think I will have to replace gaskets and O-rings. gaskets will have to be ordered I think. O-rings are pretty cheap.

I can't think of any other test that I can run. Thanks again for thoughts.

Oh also I've seen youtube video of seafoaming the top end, but I believe that would only bypass the injectors just like the starter fluid did. is there some way, with out special tools of getting bg or seafoam to the injectors?
